MusaweNkosi Ministries has been caring for the communities in and around Empangeni in the KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa since 2001. It brings practical help for the hungry, the uneducated, the orphan and the widows. And through this they share the gospel of Jesus and ultimately bring hope to the hopeless.

There are four regular ministries:

• A food and education program caring for children and families living in poverty in the community and surrounding areas by providing meals through the feeding scheme and building children’s confidence by assisting them with basic reading and maths, and helping with homework as needed.
• A children’s home providing a safe place to live for up to 40 children, caring for them so they are able to grow physically, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally, and able to take their rightful place in society when they leave.
• A discipleship and mentorship program, investing and walking alongside those who have struggled with education by equipping them with life and business skills to care for themselves and families, and having regular Bible studies with them.
• Community development including visiting families in the community and being the practical hands and feet of Jesus, hosting teas for the Seniors of the community, and supporting the Embabe church plant.
