SIM Southern Africa is very grateful for all donations made toward Christ’s work through our organization.

1. Detailed description of services
   SIM Southern Africa is a non-profit organization in the Christian missionary industry that sends missionaries to locations within South Africa and to other countries. We also receive missionaries from other countries.
2. Donation refund policy
   Refunds will only be considered due to errors made online, the supported missionary having left SIM, or the supported project no longer being active. Because SIM Southern Africa pays administrative fees on these deposits, those fees will be recovered on a refund.
3. Donor Privacy policy
   SIM Southern Africa shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of its donors as may be required. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
   Should your gift be marked as “anonymous,” we will not pursue your personal information. Remember that the recipient of anonymous gifts cannot thank such donors and that SIM Southern Africa cannot refund or adjust anonymous gifts.
4. Payment options accepted
   Payment may be made via Visa or MasterCard credit cards, debit cards, or by bank transfer into the SIM Southern Africa bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
5. Credit card acquiring and security
   Credit card transactions will be acquired for SIM Southern Africa via Payfast (Pty) Ltd, who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. Payfast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3), and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.payfast.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. At no time does SIM Southern Africa handle card details.
6. Donor details separate from card details
   Donor details will be stored by SIM Southern Africa, but card details will not be. Card details are entered by the client on Payfast’s secure site. For more detail on Payfast, please refer to payfast.co.za.
7. Merchant outlet country and transaction currency
   The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
8. Responsibility
   SIM Southern Africa takes responsibility for all aspects relating to donations made on this website, donor service and support, and dispute resolution.
9. Country of domicile
   This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and SIM Southern Africa chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, P.O. Box 30027, Tokai, 7966.
10. Variation
    SIM Southern Africa may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
